Equilumen® Forte is a symbiotic product containing 2 strains of freeze-dried lactic acid bacteria, specially selected and Beneo® Synergy 1, a complex of inulin and oligofructose.
Lactic acid bacteria are naturally found throughout the digestive tract and contribute** to several functions:
maintain the acid-base balance required for the proper functioning of digestive enzymes, helping normal digestion
prevent the proliferation of pathogenic microorganisms (for example Candida)
they affect the motility of the intestine (peristalsis), favoring its normal function
contribute to the development of the immune system.
Disturbance of the intestinal microflora balance can be caused by several factors, including:
treatment with antibiotics
intestinal bacterial or viral infection (for example, from rotavirus)
improper diets
travel (traveler's diarrhea or constipation)
alcohol consumption.
Disturbance of the balance of intestinal flora has many unpleasant consequences, with the following main symptoms:
flatulence (bloating)
diarrhea
constipation
abdominal discomfort

The recommended doses are as follows:
Children from 3 to 12 years: one capsule 1-2 times a day, preferably with food.
Adults and children over 12 years: one capsule 1-3 times a day, preferably with food.1
It is recommended to take Equilumen® Forte at least 3 hours after taking an antibiotic.1
