ALFA GAUZE / ALFASHIELD sterile gauze is made from 100% premium cotton for maximum safety and protection. They are hydrophilic, highly absorbent, odorless, with no bleaching residues and with folded edges.
Characteristics:
• 17 threads / cm2 and minimum weight 23gr / m2
• 16 threads / cm2 and minimum weight 22gr / m2
• 15 threads / cm2 and minimum weight 19,5gr / m2
• Tolerance ± 8%
• Sterile gauze is available in individual envelope packages, made of special medical paper and designed to be peel open. Each envelope shall bear the lot number, the sterilization date and the expiry date of the product.
• Sterile with ETO (ethylene oxide)
Use: For wound healing and for use in microsurgery.
