The Saw Palmetto (Serenoa repens) is a small palm species that thrives in North America and takes its name from the saw-toothed shape at the base of each leaf. The extract is obtained from the dark fruit during the period of August and September.
Each capsule yields 160mg of extract (equivalent to 1440mg of powder from the fruits of the plant) providing fatty acids and sterols at an astonishing 85-95%.
